Why do all living beings have different types of shapes and body features?

Have you noticed how different human beings, birds, and animals are from each other? In fact, all animals are not alike either. There are so many types or species of animals and birds. Some animals live in water while others live on trees. Every animal has its own special and unique features, traits, and behavior. These unique features help them to adapt and survive in their special living condition. For example, the animals that live in water have gills to breathe with lungs. Let’s have a look at some other interesting examples.
- Cactus plants don’t have leaves but spikes to help them survive in the desert where there is very little water!
- Camels have special hubs to store food and water to survive in the hot desert!
- Owls have special eyes to help them to see better in the dark! Can you see in the dark that clearly! No way. It’s because we don’t need to stay awake at night to get our food as owls do.
