You must have noticed the name imprinted on the tyres of some cars or perhaps during the F1 car racing season. Goodyear is also the name of a tyre and rubber company. Though the company was not formed by either Charles Goodyear or his children, it was formed 40 years after his death by a man called Frank. He named the company to honour the effects of Goodyear.
What is F1?
F1 is a short form for formula one, it is also the most technically advanced auto racing, where cars are designed like jet planes and run at a speed of more than 200miles per hour. The formula refers to a certain set of rules all participant and cars should follow. The racing happens between a closed circuit that a built and designed especially for a series of races called Grand Prix. The most famous Grand Prix is Monaco Grand Prix held in Monte Carlo. The first Grand Prix was held in 1950.
Sebastian Vettel is the youngest(21 years) and Luigi Fagioli(52 years) is the oldest player to have won a Grand Prix.
